These are the questions Texas business owners ask us most. If yours isn’t here, ask it on the form below and we’ll answer it directly.
How long does SEO take to work?
It depends on where you’re starting and how crowded your market is. Fixes to a Google Business Profile can show up in the map pack within a few weeks, and new or improved service pages usually take one to three months to settle. Catching up with a competitor who has years of reviews takes longer, because the only honest way to close a review gap is to earn reviews steadily.
Can you guarantee a first-page ranking?
No, and you should be wary of anyone who does. Google decides rankings, and Google’s own help pages say there’s no way to pay for a better local ranking. What we can promise is clear monthly work, honest reporting and a plan that changes when the data says it should.
How much does SEO cost?
Plans start at $399 a month for all services, or $100 a month for a single service such as local SEO, social media or content writing. Our pricing page compares the two. After the audit you get a monthly scope, a price and the results we expect to move first, and any ad spend is billed by the platform directly to you.
Will SEO actually get me more calls?
That’s the measure we use. Every call, form and booking is tracked by source from the first week, and the monthly report leads with them. If the numbers don’t move after a fair run, we’ll say so before you have to ask.

Do I have to sign a long contract?
No. Plans are month-to-month and billed monthly by card or bank transfer. We recommend giving SEO at least three months, because that’s how long it usually takes to show results, and you keep ownership of your domain, website, analytics and Google profile either way.
What do you need from me?
Access to your Google Business Profile, website and analytics, a short conversation about your services and customers, and quick answers when questions come up. Photos from your work and the questions customers ask most make the biggest difference.
How do you report results?
One page a month. Calls, form leads and bookings come first, split by source, then map rankings, then the work we did with links. If something went the wrong way, the report says why we think it happened and what we’re changing.
Will you write reviews for us or filter out bad ones?
No. Google prohibits incentives for reviews and prohibits asking only happy customers, and the FTC’s 2024 rule on consumer reviews targets fake reviews and review suppression. We set up requests that go to every customer and help you reply well to what comes back.
Do you work with businesses outside the big cities?
Yes. We plan work for 100 Texas cities, including small towns in West Texas, the Panhandle and East Texas where one well-kept profile can cover a whole county. Smaller markets often move faster, because fewer competitors are doing the basics well.
Is SEO better than paid ads?
They do different jobs. Paid search and Google’s Local Services Ads bring calls quickly at a cost per click or lead, while SEO takes longer to build and then keeps producing without a charge per call. Many businesses use both, and we’ll show you the cost per customer from each.
What happens if we stop working together?
You keep everything: the website, the content we wrote, the analytics history and the Google profile, all in your name. We’ll hand over any documentation and logins you need.
Do I need a new website?
Usually not. Most sites need better service pages, faster loading and clearer calls to action, which can be fixed on what you have. We only suggest a rebuild when the current site can’t do the job, and we’ll explain why with numbers.
Where is Texas SEO Agency based?
Our team is based in Dallas, Texas, and we work with businesses statewide. Most check-ins happen by phone or video, so location rarely limits what we can do.
What should I look for when comparing SEO agencies?
Ask what exactly they’ll change each month, how you’ll know it’s working and what you keep if you leave. The answers should be specific: a list of work, tracking you can check and full ownership of your accounts.
Can I do some of this myself?
Yes, and many owners should. Keeping your Google profile accurate, asking every customer for a review and replying to reviews are all things you can do today. We’ll tell you which parts are worth handing off and which you can keep.
What’s the difference between local SEO and regular SEO?
Local SEO focuses on the map pack and searches with nearby intent, using your Google Business Profile, reviews and listings. Regular SEO focuses on your website ranking in the main results. Most local businesses need both, and they support each other.
How many Google reviews do I need?
There’s no magic number. You want at least as many recent reviews as the businesses in the top three for your searches, and a steady flow of new ones, because customers notice when the newest review is a year old.
Can I use a virtual office to rank in another city?
No. Google’s guidelines don’t allow virtual offices or mailbox addresses, and violations can get your profile suspended. Reviews and pages for the areas you serve are the honest way to reach further.
Do you work with healthcare, legal and other regulated businesses?
Yes. We write with the relevant rules in mind, such as Texas lawyer advertising rules, privacy limits on healthcare review replies and TREC requirements for real estate, and flag anything that needs review by your compliance contact or attorney.
