How we approach local search across Texas
Every city on this page has its own page, because local search depends on place. The businesses that rank near downtown Dallas aren’t the ones that rank in Frisco, and a roofing company in Amarillo faces a different market from one in Katy.
Each city page covers how customers there search, which neighborhoods and nearby towns behave differently and what we’d focus on first. Population figures come from the U.S. Census Bureau’s Vintage 2024 estimates. The Woodlands, Spring and Cypress are unincorporated communities, so they don’t have Census city estimates.
Regions, not just cities
We group cities into nine regions because nearby markets share commuting patterns, weather and industries. A business in Round Rock often serves Georgetown and Pflugerville too, and one in McAllen competes across Hidalgo County.
Don’t see your city?
We can still help. Most of what decides local search, such as your profile, reviews and service pages, works the same way everywhere. Ask for a free audit and tell us where your customers are.
